Most times the complexity of the conduit pipe network makes it difficult for individuals moving around the space avoid stepping on parts of the conduit pipe and damaging them. The extent of the damage is based on the conduit pipes strength. However, no mater how strong the conduit pipes are, they usually get damaged or flattened from regular impacts. This in effect makes it difficult for cables to be pulled through the conduit pipes.
